OUGD502 - Studio Brief 1 - Passport Studio

Passport Studio 

Passport Studio was set up by Jonathan Finch and Rosalind Stoughton. They are a independent branding and print design studio in Leeds and use experimental and unconventional processes and materials combined with research to create their work.

Things I like about Passports work:

- The use of experimental processes and techniques to create their work creates unique and original designs

- The varied and considered applications for their designs shows different ways in which a design can be used.

- The use of varied and unique, materials and stocks with different textures and colours creates interest within the design.

- In a few of the projects stamps have been used as a means to easily apply a design to different surfaces creating a versatile design.

- Passports use of type creates distinctive, playful, clean and minimal looking designs.
