Glow RHS

At all RHS gardens this year Glow Winter Illuminations took place. The gardens were opened after hours so that visitors could see the garden lit up with coloured lights. It was interesting to see the garden in a different way, with the use of the lights around the garden creating interesting shadows, which highlighted and emphasised the forms of the plants and trees. Lights near the pond created beautiful reflections on the water and abstract patterns. The whole event brought colour to the garden that would otherwise be quite sparse because of Winter.
